The Jostens Renaissance MAC PLC took place Thursday, December 5th at King George High School in King George, VA. Twelve schools (spanning from WV, NoVA, Stafford and the VA Northern Neck) and about 75 staff leaders attended. Lisa Spain, Jostens Renaissance Director, facilitated the event along with Tom Nichols (Principal, North Stafford, HS) and Cliff Conway (Principal, King George HS)
The walls were plastered with ideas from all the attendees on how to build positive culture in schools and find unique ways to reward/recognize students and faculty who many times go unrecognized. Let’s get started with those baby step ideas we can implement in our schools and turn them into big steps over time.
Congratulations to all of you who took home wonderful ideas AND prizes such as Mt. Vernon’s two registrations to Jostens National Pep Rally this July in Orlando and TC William’s Pause Before You Post kit. The Walt Whitman Middle School team was also in attendance. West Potomac High School of Fairfax County was also on the guest list.
The follow up conference is slated to be March 21st at Mussleman HS in WV.
